Clarification on Recent Social Media Claims Involving Miracle Centre Cathedral – (MCC MEMBER)

In recent days, there have been social media posts and rumors circulating regarding a well-known artist, Papa Cidy, and his affiliation with Miracle Centre Cathedral and Pastor Robert Kayanja. We feel it is important to set the record straight and provide clarity for our congregation and community at large.

First and foremost, we at Miracle Centre Cathedral want to affirm that we remain committed to the work of God, the transformative power of Jesus Christ, and the spiritual well-being of everyone who steps through our doors. Our mission has always been to spread the gospel, extend grace, and bring healing to those in need, regardless of their personal journeys.

It is true that Papa Cidy was once part of our congregation, and we offered him love, guidance, and support as we would for anyone seeking a connection with God. However, since departing from Uganda and after years without praying with us at Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral, his path has diverged from the values and teachings we uphold. While we continue to pray for him, any actions or affiliations he has taken in recent years are his own decisions, independent of our ministry.

Miracle Centre Cathedral and Pastor Robert Kayanja are in no way associated with the recent declarations or posts made by Papa Cidy, including any mention of LGBTQ pride. It is unfortunate that our ministry and Pastor Robert Kayanja have been tagged in a post which appears to misrepresent our stance. We strongly discourage the circulation of misinformation and encourage those who have questions or concerns to seek answers directly from our leadership team.

Pastor Robert Kayanja has always stood for biblical truths and remains focused on his divine calling to lead Miracle Centre Cathedral. We will not be distracted by external noise or rumors that attempt to tarnish the work God has assigned to this ministry. Our focus remains on spiritual growth, healing, and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to all nations.

We urge our community to refrain from participating in conversations that sow discord, and instead, continue to be guided by prayer, love, and the word of God. Let us remember to extend kindness to everyone, even those who may have chosen a different path.

If you have any concerns or wish to seek further clarification, we welcome you to reach out to our ministry team directly, and we will be happy to address any questions.

In Christ,

MIRACLE CENTRE CATHEDRAL MEMBER
